At Domain Kona, we take great pride in our 3.5-acre orchard, located in the heart of the Kona Coffee Belt. Tended with the utmost care, our Kona Typica trees thrive at an elevation of 1,400 feet, benefiting from ample sunshine, ocean breezes, and reliable afternoon rainfall – the perfect conditions for producing coffee of unparalleled quality.

Our commitment to quality is evident in every step of the process, from pruning and feeding the trees to hand-harvesting only the ripe, red cherries. We then meticulously wet-process, ferment, and sun-dry the beans on the deck of our estate, enhancing their natural depth and complexity. Finally, the beans are stored in their protective parchment hulls until just prior to roasting, when they are milled, graded, and roasted in small batches to our exact specifications.

The result is a medium roast coffee with complex, delicious flavors of dark cherry and cocoa, complemented by a naturally low-acid character. As Mark Twain once observed, "Kona coffee has a richer flavor than any other, be it grown where it may and call it by what name you please."
